This module has helped me think about the impact of the Internet on my students' learning in the following ways...

It's amazing how much information students have access to via the internet. But it's scary as well. Students can type in words like wants vs. needs (the ones in our unit) and inappropriate words and material pop up. It is so important as teachers to create word documents that allow students to click on websites that have been researched and deemed acceptable to use.

This module has helped me think about using standards, CFQ's, or formative assessment in the following ways...

Standards are key in planning any lesson or unit. It's neat planning a multi-grade level unit and aligning the standards between both grades. It allows me, as a first grade teacher, to see where my students will be headed in social studies by the time they reach third grade.

This module has made me think about my role as an instructional designer in the following ways….
Today really made me think about how I don't always take advantage of the fabulous resources that are available through the internet in my classroom. I don't always take time to use them and am excited about being reintroduced to delicious.
